HIGHLIGHT EPISODE

âťť

There is some luck, but talent, truthfulness and perseverance will get you 90% there.” - Erin O’Malley

Erin O’Malley is one of the coolest, raddest ladies you will ever meet. She’s a five-time Emmy nominated television and film producer and director. More importantly, we share a  healthy obsession with Broadway musicals.

If you recall the famous character Molly Shannon created on SNL, Sally O’Malley, you’ll know why Erin was episode 50!

As you’ll hear me gush, Erin’s resume is extremely impressive, so saddle up.

Her producing credits include Da Ali G Show starring Sacha Baron Cohen which earned a Primetime Emmy nomination; The Sarah Silverman Program; Curb Your Enthusiasm, which earned four Primetime Emmy nominations as well as four Producers Guild Award nominations; The Grinder starring Rob Lowe and Fred Savage, and One Mississippi, the critically raved about Amazon Studios series starring Tig Notaro, New Girl starring Zooey Deschanel, Single Parents staring Taran Killam, Leighton Meester, and Brad Garret, and Bless This Mess starring Lake Bell and Dax Shepard.

As TV director, O’Malley has directed episodes of Fresh Off The Boat, Speechless, New Girl, Single Parents, Bless This Mess and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

A small-batch candle company based in LA by Jenny Rhee. As a candle aficionado, I was impressed by her passion for scents, for growing her business, and by her company's mantra "to find beauty and appreciation for nature and create luxury without compromising our Earth."

WATCH

I was fortunate enough to be a small part of bringing this beautiful love story to life. The New York Times dubbed "a callback to the Golden Age of Hollywood."The jazz is perfection, Phoenix Mellow's costumes are flawless,(vintage Chanel, need I say more?), and Tessa and Nnamdi's chemistry feels like being wrapped up in a cozy blanket. Hope you love it as much as we loved making it!
